The Israelites were forbidden from fishing on the Sabbath. To get around the command, they set their fishing nets or traps on Friday, allowed the fish to be caught on Saturday, and then collected them on Sunday. Although they claimed they were not fishing on the Sabbath, they deliberately used a loophole to bypass God’s command.

There’s an unreal video about a huge length of wire that’s stretched around most of manhattan because “technically” it means it’s all one space so they can go in and out of buildings on certain holy days 😂
