@scott_wiener: The No Kings Act ends the era of impunity in California for rogue federal agencies like ICE and Border Patrol. When any federal official — ICE agent or otherwise — violates your rights, you should be allowed to sue them. Now, thanks to my bill, you will be able to do so. The bill just passed the legislature and is now on Governor Newsom’s desk awaiting his signature. It’s time to sign it so we can hold agents accountable when they engage in outrageous behavior. And…it’s the strongest law of this type of any state in the country.
