I can relate to this completely but my place is Mavericks. I was looking at Mavericks for years and years and I finally got enough guts to go out. My kids still don’t believe me and I have proof visual proof. It’s so terrifying but at the same time it’s so very cool. You’re so glad to be alive and experiencing this power. I hear you. This is a good video. I’m 70 years old. I serve Mavericks last year when I was 69 on Christmas Day 35 feet the captain that took me out and the two younger dudes with me couldn’t believe it. They say I’m the oldest man to surf Mavericks. I can’t believe that just being out there and surviving it is everything Gerry from Santa Cruz.
