usually I put my hair into two braids after washing nd using grease to stretch out the hair and the outside and scalp dries within ur time frame but the inside of the braid is still damp, are you saying i should get my hair dry after putting grease and then braid it?

Yep, I definitely caused seb derm by doing this in my early days of becoming natural. Deep conditioning for too long, buns and pony’s on wet hair and wash and Go’s plus having thick hair unfortunately took a toll on my scalp.

I use a tubie twist add leave in detangle and then put my hair in two big braids.With this heat. The hooded dryer is 😆but in the fall back to my hooded dryer

I experienced that smell when I used to air dry my styles as a Bebeh natural, especially twistouts. Used to smell awful. I gave up air drying ages ago. I always sit under my bonnet dryer or hooded dryer. Never had that smell again because my hair is actually dry. My scalp is so much less inflamed too!
