I love how Tony denied the plan at first because he didn’t see the risk as worth it, until he saw that picture, and he wanted to do it..for Peter. He died for Peter. It may have saved everyone else but he didn’t put his life at risk for them, but he did for his son.

A lot pf people are actually saying that it was selfish of him to follow his strong feelings for a "kid" he worked with instead of living with his family - he was hurting and he knew half the planet was hurting as well. For his own peace of mind and for the whole world's, because in this universe, he wasn't as selfish as everyone thought, if there really was a chance to bring back the ones who blipped, even a small one, he'd take it. Whatever it takes.
