I remember watching them on top of the pops. Kurt Cobain refused to let the BBC pump the original or smells like teen spirit through the speakers. He sung the lyrics in a completely different tone. Quality from the legend. 👍

As someone who lived this experience I can tell you that if lit an explosion inside GenX that we needed; even the ones that already had a thumb on punk rock. Grunge was very much needed and at a time we were coming into adulthood.

Sepultura arise and Alice in chains facelift had bigger influences yet barely any credit to how the 90s played out. Fear factory demanufature also changed the sound forevermore
