I’ve been towing as well for 45 plus years and this thin is awesome, takes all movement out of the hitch receiver. I was getting ready to buy a heavy duty truck and new trailer for my 27 ft boat, $21 and it’s been great. Highly recommend.

and that's probably applying twice the amount of pressure on the opposite side of your PIN that you complained about having pressure on. lol 😂😂 this has to be a joke

I tow a trailer every day and have never given hitch wobble a thought. Ever.

l it's called a window clamp and they use it to attach unistrut to I beams. the only difference is it's PVC coated. 😏

The manufacturer takes the wobble and the forces applied in to account when they design the receivers. I still have one of the tighteners when I run the extension on my truck

Maybe if you are towing a light trailer, my trailers tongue weight doesnt allow for any slop .
I dont want to have to have an impact and socket with me to change hitch receivers for different trailers .

alot of states don't allow for the hitch to be in without a trailer attached due to people walking into them and loose hitch is annoying that item would definitely help it

Or, now I’m just a farmer and not an Electrician, but you could just buy the correct size hitch for the receiver

It’s nothing more than a window clamp you can buy at Home Depot. The exact design is what we use to mount uni strut on structural steel.

Looks fairly simple to make you just need a u boat and a metal plate local hardware store

it won't do that if you put a damn bolt, washers and Nut the right size through the Hole and tighten it down. Mine nevers sways, jumps etc etc...Just tighten it up just like that Gadget does. All I do is change out the ball if needed..One and done

I had a light trailer and the racket from the hitch was ridiculous when it was empty or lightly loaded. I got one of these (years ago), and back to peaceful silence. I paid less than 10 for it and it did exactly what I needed.
