@shivermama: I think that’s the hardest part of motherhood. Knowing that every version of them is temporary. The tiny hands that used to reach for mine. The little girl who needed me for everything. And now, the moments when she lets go and keeps walking on her own. I know one day they’ll all be big enough to walk without me.
