The high school dropout rate in her hometown was 34% in the 90’s, so she started a program that dropped that rate all the way down to 6%. It’s still close to 8% today. That woman changed lives for multiple generations of people

She was an AMAZING human! Funny, kind, beautiful, generous, loving. All 3 of my kids were enrolled in The Imaginary Library, they got a book EVERY MONTH until they turned 5! Was so special for them! Celebrity dea+hs don’t usually get to me…but, Dolly, ooo, this one hurts.
