What you prepare for, sacrifice for, study for, make room for and discipline yourself for reveals what you genuinely believe is coming. That’s why “faith without works is dead” is so much deeper than simply working harder. Faith is invisible. Works make it visible. Maybe the question isn’t only, “What are you praying for?” Maybe it’s: If I studied your life, would I be able to tell what you believe God is about to do?
