@sfstandard: Two months ago, political organizer Brad Joseph Chapin accused District 8 supervisor candidate Manny Yekutiel of sexual assault that occurred in 2020. Yekutiel denied the claims. Last night at a San Francisco Democratic Party meeting, the board endorsed Yekutiel in the race to represent the Castro, Noe Valley, and other neighborhoods. Before the vote, Chapin shamed the Democratic Party for not finding Yekutiel at fault because, according to a judicial commission’s findings, the alleged assault did not occur at “an official meeting or any sponsored event of the [SF Democratic Party.]”
