You have really good points here. The Bible does say God justifies divorce when there's adultery or abuse within the marriage. But it is true when I say that God can restore any marriage. If both believe that and are willing to resolve, forgive, work on themselves and move forward, God will make it possible. The woman may be hurt and exhausted, but they can get through that if they truly want to remain in the marriage. Resentment is a powerful thing and once a person learns how to genuinely let go of things, they can become much happier people.

I’ve heard men say the same and had the same testimony from a man’s perspective I’ve even heard one of a wife getting pregnant form the lover and he forgave her. I don’t think all are brainwashed some are questionable. Also my grandfather cheated didn’t find out till later my grandma told us and he never did it again we loved him and I don’t see him different he loved us and her he’s was human and yes cheating is a mistake for some wrong on all levels but staying and forgiving does happen and leaving does as well
