Check what is taking up your storage! Sometimes when you transfer backups gunk can happen and cause a software issue which causes heating up. It’s an annoying fix, but an easy fix if that’s the case! You’ll want to see how much system data there is

All of apples products from the last 4 years are al having overheating issues including the newest ones which people are literally having catch fire in there pockets not being used it’s really unfortunate

I hope you got Apple Care 😭 my iPad Pro works amazingly I’m obsessed with it. I use mine with the pencil and the magnetic keyboard. I’d request a replacement!

Yup my husband had the same one and got it for his class to do graphic design and can’t even get the app needed to do the class the once he worked around it same over heating and dies!

I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME. It can be at 100% when I watch a movie, but by the end it’s almost dead. I got a refurbished iPhone that’s OLDER than the ipad and the battery lasts forever. Make it make sense

Since March?? The warranty is still on. Minimum 1 year. The iphones usually are 2 years, don't know if that's changed..

I don't like Apple, haven't touched anything since 2009. One of my sisters got my parents iPhone & iPads years ago... it's apparently on me to deal with them & I hate it, would love to move them away from Apple but they're in their late 70's & it makes them nervous. Apple is the bane of my life & silly money too🤦♀️

I use my iPad for school and when I first got it last year and I will literally charge it to 100% and then I won’t touch it for like 4 days and then I take it out of my book bag for a test and it is literally dead nothing is running in the background. It’s driving me insane and it’s the same for my pencil it’s so so so annoying.

I haven’t used my iPad in months. I have deleted everything and it’s still telling me there is no storage. It won’t charge, nothing. It’s frustrating.
