Ada masa berdiri pun menyeksakan, tapi aku tetap berdiri. Bukan sebab aku sihat. Bukan sebab aku kuat sangat. Tapi sebab aku tak ada pilihan untuk menyerah. Tongkat ini bukan alasan untuk aku berhenti mencari rezeki. Selagi tangan masih mampu bekerja, selagi mulut masih mampu bercakap, selagi Allah masih pinjamkan kudrat walaupun sedikit… aku akan teruskan. Aku bekerja bukan untuk membuktikan aku tak sakit. Aku bekerja walaupun aku sakit. Demi sesuap nasi. Demi keluarga. Demi kehidupan yang masih perlu diteruskan. Orang nampak aku berdiri dan tersenyum.
