I heard a lawyer say that if he went after Patrick, parts could seem like motive for her to have done it. Like the affair for example.

I think he’s playing chess while they’re playing checkers. You can’t convince me that a seasoned lawyer like himself, thinks Patrick is innocent. I think he simply had to get the best possible outcome of this trial before moving forward towards Patrick. I hope he’s playing the long game. The children deserve true justice, so does Lindsay.

He’s trying to keep her in a safe place that will protect her until the truth comes out and justice can really be done. Patrick didn’t do this alone. He had a lot of help.

Apparently Patrick’s attorneys are threatened to sue Internet detectives . I say let them - please sue someone who worked up an alternate timeline and then he has to open up his phone records. I will donate to that go fund me.

Former prosecutor here. Probably too much to just put in a comment, but because the trial was not bifurcated, Red had to essentially play both sides. Arguing, reasonable doubt, while Also arguing not guilty by reason of insanity. To argue both with credibility you have toe the line. So the argument has to be shoddy investigation, RD, but if you think CW met that burden, she clearly was in psychosis. To bring a 3rd party defense into that argument is too much. But yes, I already think there are direct appeal issues created by the CW that upon review may grant a new trial. And then the possibilities are endless at a new trial (depending on the grounds for which the appeal was granted).
