u are using way too much salt 😭 not good for your health and actually salt is a flavor enhancer, so a tiny pinch can bring out the sweetness, but too much salt will just overpower everything. i think that might be why you’re not getting the flavor you want 😭

Love put the syrup in a blender, and as for the sweetness you can substitute the maple syrup for brown sugar instead it will taste better
