this looks so close to a German twisted! I've only ever done it with one hand, and it starts with two stitches, not one.

THANK YOU! i only ever seen this technique in picture form and found it hard to imagine! i use my thumb and forefinger, a pretty common method also. im knitting up another pair of mittens atm, as i just finished mine and their lining😍

I love watching your videos, I'm 27 year old man from England, been knitting since I was younger, I usually cast on the same way but I definitely need to try knitting at the back of the loop instead of through the loop. Much love Simone ❤️
