I ended up at Bottega del Giglio after a ton of research (on and off TIK tok). It’s so overwhelming!! And I was so tired of all the street vendors and scam shops in Florence it was actually sickening

I can vouch for Bottega Del Giglio. My wife got a bag there on our honeymoon for $300 and she absolutely loves it. Got her new initials embroidered on it for no additional charge as well.

Da Firenze near Bottega del giglio was very nice. Got a bag for 177 euro with my initials without any wait like you would have at Bottega.

Just avoid shopping from the open air market. Low quality cheap bags upsold to tourists. “Vera Pelle” can be very misleading.
