Nursing is about emotional regulation. Seats and computers mean nothing. You can get up for 2 minutes in a nursing station and find a doctor, co-worker, manager, or someone from another unit in your seat. Moving her stuff was wrong, fighting over a seat was wrong, and two young ladies got kicked out of nursing school. A seat isn’t worth it.

If you can’t emotionally regulate yourself in school, there’s no way you’re going to be able to keep your cool with these patients and the pressure cooker of stress in these hospitals. No one can make you act like that, no matter what they do. That’s a choice.

I also go to school there. I was not in the room, but I was down the hall and the thing about this program these classes are nontransferable. so not only did they get kicked out, they’ll have to start completely over wherever they go. and they did call the police. I don’t know if they got formal charges pressed or not, but ain’t nobody worth me losing everything I worked so hard for.
