@monybseattle: ⛵ A DAY AT THE MARINA ⛵ [invited] Let’s spend the day at Shilshole Bay Marina in Ballard with the Port of Seattle! This marina offers full services, easy navigation, and a relaxed marina community. It’s the perfect place to walk, picnic, enjoy art, and so much more! Our first stop of the day was The Jibe Café for a coffee boost to start the day! This local favorite has been here since 2015 and has a real community feel. Grab beverages, fresh baked goods, breakfast, or lunch on your marina adventure. Next stop was Windworks Sailing Club to learn more about their sailing club where you can learn, become a member, or charter a sail. Then we got to head out for a sail with David and Eli. It was a gorgeous Seattle day with a cool breeze and nature views we all love. When the sail was over, we saw a seal sunning on the rocks on our way back in. That seal is living the life! Our final stop was Little Coney, a Ballard tradition. They’re well known for their soft serve. Although I couldn’t have any this time, I’ve had it before and I highly recommend it on a warm summer day! Thanks to @helloterumi for sharing a peek of her affogato! Marinas are a great place to get outdoors whether you’re a boater, walker, jogger, or just want to hang out with friends and family. Thanks to the Port of Seattle for a great day!
