Been in the OR 45yrs and still doing it. I love the camaraderie, the personal challenges, the adrenaline, and knowing you are saving someone that could very well cross over from life and sometimes do. It’s like a little village within the hospital with all kinds of personalities. But the best is the stupid morbid sarcasm that makes me laugh.
