✨Baby Crying Before Pooping?✨ • • • If your baby looks like they’re fighting for their life before they poop… but the diaper tells a very different story… • • • I need you to hear this: 👉🏽Red face. 👉🏽Grunting. 👉🏽Full body tension. 👉🏽Crying like something is terribly wrong. • Followed by a completely soft, normal stool…. • Babies have to learn how to: ✅ increase abdominal pressure ✅ relax the pelvic floor ✅ and bear down at the same time • That’s a skill. And like most skills in the newborn phase? It’s messy and loud. • So no— your baby isn’t broken! And no— you didn’t cause this! And no x2— you aren’t doing anything wrong! • It’s developmental. But developmental doesn’t mean comfortable. • That’s why I keep @mommysbliss Gripe Water on hand. Not to “fix” my baby. Not to rush his development.
