Humor me, this skit could very well be intentionally bringing awareness to CTE

Druski has done a phenomenal job of bringing issues to light thru humor. He did this with the British actors portraying black Americans… then that British actor came out and said some crazy shit. I was dumbfounded!! Druski deserves real recognition for his intellectual work.

I think the skit was clearly talking abt how little NFL cares abt these players. we can all see them mentally deteriote from the second they get hit and theyre still not looked after. I think its a great way to spark a conversation abt a serious problem

not to mention, there was a safety helmet invented to decrease the risk of getting it. the NFL made it optional and most players don't wanna wear it because they say it looks stupid

Drinking skits force a convo if you find it distasteful or not. We all know a NFL player we see on tv and say, yea they mf definitely got cte. Us fans and most importantly players need to force the NFL and these colleges to invest in CTE research. We also need to study those who played in high school but ding go past there. We need research from childhood to death that tracks brain waves to see if there is a change at point on the brain. For all we know it starts in adolescence and slowly progresses and you continue to play

He’s found his niche of comedy: controversial takes that deserve more awareness and conversation. Usually with some truth to it

It’s humor but there is always an underlying cultural critique in his skits. Even though he maintains neutrality he has to know he’s stoking deeper conversations.
