this is one instance where theory does not align with the real world. 6kva can do the job but my recommendation to my customer would be a 12kva especially if it's a high frequency inverter. low frequency 6kva inverter would jandle that load like a champ but there will be that one time when it WILL overload.

been running 5kva for over 12 years no problem 4 x fridge freezers, 5x TV 4x pc, 2x borehole preasure pump etc.

For you not to get yourself reporting at the nearest police station, deploy 6kva inverter. Washing machine is a motor machine which possibly use ×3 or ×5 of it's rated capacity as it's starting current though regulate it some minutes after, A refrigerator of 200w will always do same by using ×3 or ×5 of it's rated capacity to start. Fan is another thing if you are designing for Ceiling fan, you have to be careful but if you are designing for Plastic Standing Fan you are a bit free.
