at my uni most professors just upload the slides so you can have it on your own laptop. I usually import them into One note and only write thoughts, clarifications or whatever extra is mentioned.

baxum what if I'm not made out of money and cant buy an ipad. I'm literally struggling just buying a 900$ laptop. AND IT HAD 8GB RAM AND I HAVE TO UPGRADE IT

If the teacher provides a lecture pdf and you have notability you can send the pdf to notability and draw on it directly as well

Personal tech if anyone wants to try it. Have the slides up on a laptop and an IPad with whatever u wanna take notes with open. Take really shitty notes when prof is talking while HAND WRITING (don’t type). The goal of the notes is not to be looked back on but the act of writing is very good for setting something you learned set in stone in ur mind. Only thing in your notes to look at will be questions or major ideas (definitions, formulas etc) which means you can skim your notes for what you actually need to study first. Then use slide (if prof post them) + lecture vod to revisit ideas you want to study. Or just use organic chemistry tutor as he probably explains it better anyways. Cuts studying to what needs it most without sacrificing learning during the lecture for notes that you prolly are just gonna get confused by anyways.
