My husbands wallet was soaked in fuel when he passed. I took it home and laid it all out and surprise, it dried. It smelled like fuel still but whatever, it didn’t fall apart.

That’s NZ money. I moved to NZ 3 years ago and the money is plastic like. It’s pretty cool and I think it would be much harder to counterfeit: But I be would t make a video bragging and comparing it to American money as SUPERIOR. The dollar is stronger.

I worked at a bank, one of my regulars was a dancer, and she would always wash her money in the laundry before bringing it to me to deposit. It literally survives the washer and dryer 😂

Our money is literally designed with a proprietary cotton blend that can get absolutely soaking wet and then dry out and still be perfectly fine. When I first found out how dirty paper currency can get, I would intentionally run any bills I got through my washer and dryer. Never lost any bills.

when I was a kid in day camp there was a kid he used to do this thing where he'd pour lighter fluid on dollar bills and set them on fire to freak out the girls, it didn't burn of course american money isn't actually paper and the lighter fluid burned away too quick to catch it but it's very startling when your a child and don't know that it isn't actually paper. don't ask me where he got the lighter fluid idk and he never got in trouble for it because he'd give them the dollar after so no one snitched
