Jessie Dotson (33) sh*t, st*bbed, & attacked nine victims after an argument with his brother. Jessie was released from prison, and placed on parole in Aug. 2007 after serving 14 years for second degree murder. On March 3rd, 2008 a woman placed a call to 911 requesting a wellness check to be performed at the home of her son’s father Cecil Dotson. Cecil (30) lived at the home on Lester Street (Memphis, TN) with his girlfriend and their five children. When officers arrived on the scene they could smell a strong decomposing odor immediately. Once authorities entered the home they found Cecil, Marissa Williams (27)(cecil's girlfriend), Hollis Seals(33)(friend), and Shindri Roberson (22)(friend) were all found sh*t and killed. Cecil’s two sons, Cemario (4) and Cecil (2) were also found deceased. Cecil’s three other children, C.J. (9), Cedrick (5), and Ceniyah (newborn) were all st*bbed/be*ten but survived the attack. Initially police thought C.J. was deceased after finding him in the tub with a kn!fe sticking out of his skull. At first, the murders were suspected to be gang related, but after examining the crime scene they weren't so sure. Marijuana was placed in Cecil’s hand, Shindri’s pants were pulled down, and cr*ck was placed next to her body. Jessie was later brought in by police, and he confirmed he was with Cecil the night before the victims were found. Jessie later confessed that after a day of binge drinking, he sh*t Cecil in the head after an argument in his home. Not wanting to leave any witnesses, he admitted to m*rdering six adults/children, and badly injuring three children. In Oct. 2010 Jessie pleaded not guilty during his trial, and took the stand to defend his innocence. There was no DNA found on the weapons nor at the crime scene. Two of Cecil’s children took the stand and confirmed “Uncle Jessie'' was indeed their attacker. On Oct 11, 2010 Jessie Dotson was found guilty of 1st degree murder and sentenced to death.
