In my politics class (ACT) we did a google form that was sent to the whole school (yr11,12) abt feminism and whether we still need it in Australia and in their opinion has it be achieved, aswell as long form answers, a concerning about of men under 18 said that they felt threatened by the feminist movement and believed it essentially made them less if it was achieved

As someone who also works in a school, a few friends and I have been seeing these behaviour trends rapidly increasing in the classroom and we kept getting knocked back when we bought it up to executives. Sooooo glad this study has been done. I’ve been feeling crazy for the last 5 years.

The other day a Year 11 male student flat out asked me directly, in front of the whole class… “Miss do you prefer with or without foreskin” … he literally had a police presentation about sexual harassment before my lesson that day….

I read the whole report 🥲 I’m not sure what’s more horrific.. that these disgusting behaviours and beliefs are present from as young as early teens, or that these beliefs were the highest for Gen Z and Millennials across males AND females… even our own sex is against us? 🥲 my heart goes out to our teachers as well ❤️
