I get it. But sometimes when you’re looking for seats for a party of 2 or more, it’s usually the case that a whole row is open except for that one person who purchased a single seat. Happens all the time in the movie theater. I need 4 seats and there it is, but someone broke the flow and bought one damn seat. But trust me, I get it. Both sides are annoying.

The last two times I flew on a plane, someone took my seat. How is this normalized? One said "Just sit in the middle" when we paid EXTRA for the windows seat.
