A lot of people do not understand the plot of the movie American psycho and it’s kind of alarming because the movie goes out of its way to tell you what’s really happening. In the film, we see Patrick Bateman played by Christian Bale and he is a rich white psychopath, but he is completely living and fantasy, and is not committing the crimes that we see in the movie. The movie is making commentary on the dangers of trying to excel and capitalism while emulating the other successful rich, white sociopathic man. It also is about the dangers of living and fantasy in that eventually you’ll lose your reality. It is shocking though how many people will misinterpret this movie purposefully or accidentally because it’s not about what they wanted it to be about ##americanpsycho##analysis##movietok##movieanalysis##filmtok
