I think the main thing to consider is if the complications worsen, then your income will be more impacted because of additional support needs. I think the best thing you’re doing for yourself is taking it seriously which gives you the best chance of good management. But an example for me is my eye appointments take out 4 working days of the year because you can’t drive or use a screen after the drops they use and the appointments are never nearby. It’ll be just once a year if you can keep your vision healthy etc.

being unemployed and T1 with food its hard as the cheaper items are generally carb heavy so makes food management hard
