I jokingly made the same comment but it was obvious that trying to back inside the yard the stroller accidentally tipped over she immediately went for the baby but seeing it was ok and the dog right on her she picked up the dog and went to stand right in front of the stroller putting herself between the baby and the other dog

Mom did awesome. Protect the one at risk. If a dog targets your dog, they aren’t interested in anything else. Ensure baby is safe, get your dog.

the loose dog was going after her and the dog, the baby stroller is made to protect the child from falls. I'm sure she was acting on instinct and not thinking about the optics of it. the baby was not being threatened.

I agree with the collective. the baby was already very much protected in the stroller but the dog however was not. And as everyone else said the dog was going after the dog not the baby.
