I honestly wonder why Canada, where your family lives, isn’t an option. You’d still get the experience while having extra support and quality family time. At that age, kids benefit from stability and continuity. Even corporate expat children with the consistency of international schools can find frequent country changes challenging. 😬

When my parents moved to France back in the 80s they just put me into regular French school and I was fluent within 3 months. Seems a shame to go all that way for them not to be immersed in a proper Italian school experience
