It’s literally a never ending cycle😭😭. You go to work and give them all your energy, then barely have any time or energy left for yourself. Even on your off days, you’re not really off because you gotta catch up on laundry, buy groceries, clean, run errands, handle appointments and everything else you didn’t have time to do while working. Then your last off day is basically spent getting yourself ready to go right back to work. 😭 Then payday comes and your whole damn check disappears into rent, car payments, insurance, groceries, utilities and every other bill. Now you’re broke again, so you go right back to work and repeat the same cycle. Work, bills, sleep, errands, repeat. 💯 And we’re supposed to keep doing this for DECADES while people are even talking about raising the retirement age, and people our age are constantly questioning what Social Security will even look like by the time we retire. 😭 Life is already hard enough. Sometimes it really feels like we lost the game the moment we were born into a capitalist system where you have to sell most of your time just to afford to exist. I don’t want my entire life to be working just so I can survive. I actually want time to LIVE.
