I was walking, and talking for 12 hours with a ruptured ectopic pregnancy with internal bleeding. By the end of the 12 hours I could barely move but I was still moving, still talking. Women do shit like this every day because medical professionals DO NOT LISTEN TO US.

I had an ovarian torsion and an ultrasound and all tests came back normal. thankfully I had an gyn who listened to what was going on. not everyone is so lucky

This is how the medical industry acts. I have a seizure disorder but because of my life circumstances when it was at its worst I had to be very high functioning. Went to the ER several times for it and they usually scoffed at me and acted like I was crazy because I was too “calm and collected”. I just have a high pain tolerance and a very strong sense of willpower because I literally had no other choice.

I went to the hospital with an ectopic pregnancy on the verge of rupturing, it was in my right tube. they accused me of drug seeking and left me in a room for 6 hours until it finally ruptured and I almost died. I've never seen doctors and nurses rush me out as quickly as they did once I "recovered".

God i hate the way our medical system runs in the US. I'm in pre-med right now and my sole goal right now is to someday have my own practice where I can make sure my patients are treated like real human beings in need of care.
