I was thinking about building a website for a car dealership and realized how quickly these websites can become image-heavy and packed with information. Car specs, features, available colors, 20+ pictures of each car, interior shots, videos… before you know it, you’re storing a ridiculous amount of media on the website 😂 Then I thought: Why does all of that actually need to be on the website? The website could simply show the important specs, features, available colors, price, and a few good pictures. If someone is genuinely interested, they can click “Chat on WhatsApp” and continue from there. The dealer can then send them more pictures, videos, documents, answer questions, negotiate, etc. Less clutter. Less storage. Faster website. And honestly, probably a better experience for both the buyer and the dealer. Sometimes as developers, we focus so much on “What can we put on the website?” when we should probably be asking: “What actually needs to be on the website?” 🚗💻#xyzbca
