The catacombs were a place where the poor could be placed. Before that the bodies were leaned against cemetery gates. it was respectful and somber. It wasn’t creepy. In the well in the catacombs said you shouldn’t drink this water you should save your thirst for the living water. Something like that I don’t remember verbatim

I went there about 10 years ago! In the hallway with bodies lined on the walls, one tag on one of the bodies was flailing around like crazy but none of the other ones next to it were moving. I looked around for vents but there was nothing. Freaked me out BAD
