@sabrinal4mb: Tests he has had: 4x colonoscopy, 1x endoscopy, 1x MRI, 1x CT Scan, multiple blood tests, parasite tests, stool tests, h pylori , Fit test positive, infectious diseases tests. He also had a fistula which ruptured and became septic. This has since has surgery on. His blood tests always show an abnormal shape of red blood cells. The highest level of inflammation in stool samples was 556. 2 years ago, Sean’s because unwell after having bali belly and a fistula. He now always has rectal bleeding, dhiarroea, pain, cramps, bloating, confusion and several other symptoms. Two years of appointments, tests, waiting, trying the NHS, trying private healthcare… and still not having the answers we desperately want. We’ve now been given an NHS private referral, so we’re hoping this might finally get us somewhere. It’s also one of the reasons we’ve decided to buy a house and settle down. Travelling has become so much harder when you never know how you’re going to feel or where the nearest toilet will be. We never imagined a health issue would have such a huge impact on our lives or influence some of the biggest decisions we’ve made together. So this is another update in Sean’s story.
