More importantly than keeping you in step, they teach you to breathe while you are running. That “stitch” you get in your side when running is because you’re not breathing deeply enough. Calling cadence during a run prevents that from happening.

there's also alot of stupid cadence. pebbles and bam bam on a paper kite (you don't want to know the lore behind that one). Airborn ranger (90% of ppl doing that one will never be a airborn ranger)
