The child looked as though there was a mesh cover over the stroller protecting the baby. I have no issue with the mom also protecting her dog. And honestly, by having the stroller on its side with the cover, it would have been a lot of work to get to the baby

that big dog only wanted the little dog. It was NOT interested in that baby! She protected what needed to be protected without involving the stroller and that child it's not like she was using the baby for protection

the dog was after her dog, not her child. the child is protected by the stroller.

Perhaps the cholce to do two things at the same time (taking your child and dog for a walk) should not have been made when she couldn't handle situations like this, and now doesn't want criticism for that poor choice. Sure the unleashed dog's owner is the primary person at fault, but her responsibility to her children comes first. I hope she learns from this and is either more prepared by having another human companion or chooses to take her dog and children separately. 🤨
