they probably just used rdr2 for the ads, they did the same with gta 5 where most of the ads were recorded in gta4 or gta 4's game engine

They’ve done this in gta v. if you watch tv long enough in game, you will see they reuse old gta iv maps in their commercials/shows

So basically rdr2 has parts of the map that are supposed to be northern Florida/southern Georgia and gta 6 will also have its map extend to northern Florida so because of this gta 6 shows the same location in rdr2 but present day.
