Honest question. A lot of my reading is about the perceived necessity among Europe, Asia and the Commonwealth to decouple from the US economy. Not necessarily for revenge but because the US economy has gotten too large and can’t be trusted with its power. Why do US economic pundits never mention this factor?

This administration is actively trying to tank the dollar to replace it with crypto. They have been setting stage for a decade. The problem with that is that we don’t own crypto and all the fat cats that have the vast majority invested in it will own whatever the reserve currency is. It’s a slippery slope into a dystopia human capital economy
