Bonking their heads, losing their balance, and occasionally throwing themselves backward like they have absolutely no sense of self-preservation. 😅 For babies and toddlers, typical falls from their own standing height are very unlikely to cause a serious head injury. And these pillow-style “head protectors” aren’t proven to prevent one. They may also: • Change a child’s balance/center of gravity • Potentially make learning to walk harder • Introduce straps around the neck/chest and a possible entanglement or strangulation hazard Babies learn balance by practicing it—including falling and getting back up. So save your money.
