In another bowl, mix ¾ cup plus 2 tbsp sugar, 7 tbsp vegetable oil, ⅔ cup milk mixed with 2 tsp apple-cider vinegar, ¼ cup milk, and 2½ tsp vanilla. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in ⅔ cup Heath toffee bits. Pour into a parchment-lined 9×5 loaf pan and bake at 350°F for 45–55 minutes. Cool for 25 minutes.
