The trucks that were pointed out by the arrows in the video most likely got into the left lane because of the “move over law”. They didn’t want a ticket for not moving over for an emergency vehicle.

How about just letting weigh stations worry about inspections. You have plenty of room Seriously 45 minutes the guy sat on the side of the road giving inspection in that amount of time probably a couple thousand cars passing by. Instead you put some kind of useless law and effect to try to make officers feel more safe. What a joke. The lady that passed away that rear ended the officer. I hope the family sued for millions. The officer chose to be on that side of the road for 45 minutes knowing anything can happen. He’s more knowledgeable than anybody.

So what that state law does is it allows for speeders on the interstate literally as long as the trucks are doing the speed limit they should be allowed in any lane. It’s only when they’re traveling slower than traffic that they should have to be in any right lane just like any other car just another money grab

doing an Inspection on the shoulder has absolutely nothing to do with safety. it's the most dangerous place to do them. how many times does officers and individuals have to be killed hurt and hit because of police departments stupidity?
