@nicholas.michael86: Administrative Law is the branch of public law that regulates the powers, functions, procedures, and decisions of public authorities and government agencies. It ensures that administrative bodies exercise their powers lawfully, fairly, reasonably, and transparently. 1. Administrative Powers Government ministries, departments, agencies, and public officials exercise powers granted by legislation. Administrative law controls how these powers are used and prevents authorities from exceeding their legal mandate. 2. Rule of Law Public authorities must act according to the law. No government official or institution is above the law, and decisions made without lawful authority may be challenged. 3. Delegated Legislation Parliament may delegate certain law-making powers to ministers, regulators, local authorities, and other public bodies. Administrative law ensures that delegated powers remain within the limits established by the enabling legislation. 4. Natural Justice Administrative decision-making must generally comply with principles of procedural fairness. These include the right to be heard and the rule against bias. A person affected by a decision should have a meaningful opportunity to present their case. 5. Judicial Review Courts may review administrative decisions to determine whether public authorities acted lawfully. Grounds may include illegality, procedural unfairness, irrationality, abuse of power, and failure to follow mandatory legal requirements. 6. Discretionary Powers Officials often have discretion when applying legislation. Such discretion must be exercised reasonably, for proper purposes, and based on relevant considerations rather than personal interests or improper motives. 7. Administrative Tribunals Specialised tribunals may hear disputes involving areas such as employment, taxation, licensing, immigration, or professional regulation. They provide mechanisms for resolving disputes outside ordinary courts. 8. Public Accountability Administrative law promotes accountability through requirements for reasons, record-keeping, transparency, consultation, oversight, and review of government decisions. 9. Remedies Where administrative action is unlawful, courts may grant remedies such as quashing orders, mandatory orders, prohibitory orders, declarations, injunctions, or other appropriate relief, depending on the legal system. 10. Importance Administrative Law protects individuals against arbitrary government action, promotes good governance, ensures accountability, and maintains the balance between effective public administration and the protection of individual rights.

Australian. Commonwealth constitution or in any States in Australia don't have accountability to people of Australia, therefore Court and Bureaucrats are not accountable to people of Australia and have absolutely power to make any Law they want accountability exempt..
