What infuriates me is all the keyboard warriors watching the videos comfortably at home saying “why didn’t they do this” or “why didn’t they run that way” or “they should have got to higher ground” — NO. There was no escape for like 98% of the people. No amount of running, or seeking higher ground was going to make a difference. For any one person we may have seen actually by some chance escape, hundreds had no chance, and no change of decision-making on their end would have changed the outcome
