@heidi.ey: The Upside Down is a parallel, distorted dimension that is closely related to the real world, in particular to the fictional town of Hawkins (Indiana) from the series "Strange Things". This is a dark "reflection" of our world, where time seems to have stopped, and instead of people there are monstrous creatures. The Upside Down is an exact but disfigured copy of Hawkins. There are the same streets, buildings (library, school, Byers' house), cars and familiar items. However, everything is immersed in eternal twilight, cold and thick, almost tangible fog. The trees in this world are dead, the air is filled with spores, and all surfaces are braided with living vines and biological membranes. The inside is toxic for ordinary people. The Upside Down did not initially exist as an independent world. Its occurrence is associated with an incident at the Hawkins National Laboratory. On November 6, 1983, Eleven (Odi), while in the sensory deprivation chamber, accidentally collided with a monster from a parallel world. This contact caused a powerful release of telekinetic energy, which pierced the fabric of reality and instantly formed a wormhole - a portal between the worlds. At the time of opening the portal, there was a "quantum snapshot" of Hawkins' current state, which led to the appearance of a distorted copy of the city in Upside Down. #noahschnapp #upsidedown #fyp #fypシ゚viral #viralvideo
