we just lost our 11 year old black lab in April due to a very aggressive cancer. It was very hard for us and his 7 year old chocolate lab sister. We said we were not getting more dogs. We ended up adopting two more pups. Puppy in June and a 3 yr old dog in July. Both were from rescues. Best decision ever.
