I can tell you one thing's a fact. The ZL1 Camaro does have the Vin number. Stamped, in the block and on the heads.

Ive seen 2 GM 6.6 Gas engines fail early at 121k and 144k miles. Terrible GM junk.

generally I would want to know what failed on my engine, your process doesn't seem to allow that, it sounds like another production line builder not a custom builder.

Actually on old cars part of the vin is stamped on the block. Hints to numbers matching.

I have 2 2023 F250 trucks. One took a dump(lifter failed )at 58k miles. Ford decided to replace camshaft and all lifters. The other truck is at 71k and doing fine.
